Miami & Hollywood Beach

The Setai Hotel and the Westin Diplomat were our 'go to' places in Miami and Hollywood beach. The Setai boasts Asian inspired decor and is truly a hidden gem of South Beach. As we lounged poolside in the early afternoon, we were astounded by how few people were actually in the pool area. It was a refreshing change to the Delano or the Ritz Carleton, which are very crowded and happening.

Below are a couple of pictures of the Setai Hotel pool and South Beach. How gorgeous is that pool?!

The Westin Diplomat, on the other hand, is probably one of the most happening places in Hollywood. We absolutely adored the interesting multilevel pools, waterfalls, and the awesome poolside bar. It's a great place to have some fun with friends, and it's equally good for families with young kids. There's just so much to do!

Some of my fondest memories from this trip definitely lie in Hollywood, FL. I'm already looking forward to visiting again soon! It's such an amazing place.

Do you prefer a calm and relaxed atmosphere or being surrounded by lots of people and loud music?

    1. You're going to LOVE Florida! It's such an amazing place! I definitely like both loud and quiet vacations, too. It's fun to party, but it's equally as nice to sit back and relax.

Next I'll be posting about the Keys! I visited this unbelievably beautiful state park called Bahia Honda... If you're going to Florida, I highly recommend visiting this place. It's got some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.
