I'm going to start this post off by mentioning that I took a bit of a blogging hiatus this passed week because I was up to my ears in school work and really didn't have much time to take any pictures... not to mention, I was living at the library in sweats for a solid eight days! Luckily they're over now, so I'm back... and so happy to be! Before I begin on my rant about my latest obsessions, I want to congratulate Emily on winning a collectible tin of Red Velvet tea from DAVIDs TEA! Check your inbox!
Ok, so here goes...
THIS NAIL POLISH: I got this darling at Sephora during the Christmas holidays about a year ago. It's called 'Looks Like Rain, Dear' (available here) and is part of the Sephora by O.P.I. collection. When I got it, the world was going through a bit of a sparkle craze and I figured that there wasn't anything better than gold for the holiday season. I wore it about three times and then let it get lost in my sea of nail polishes...
Anyway, I rediscovered this gem last night. When I put it on, I instantly felt like decorating my house for Christmas (HALLOWEEN NEEDS TO END. NOW)! The consistency of this polish is awesome. It's loaded with TONS of sparkles and dries fairly quickly. I really only needed to put on one coat but I decided to put on two because I secretly love torturing myself (it's seriously going to be a b!+*# to get off!).
Next, I want to talk about my disgustingly crunchy dead hair that has miraculously been saved by Johnson's Bedtime Baby Shampoo. About two and a half weeks ago I noticed that my hair was falling out (like a lot of it!) and when I would brush it, the ends would just break off. I tried four different shampoos with no avail. Just when I was ready to give up and chop all of my hair off, I found this baby... no pun intended.
Johnson's Bedtime baby Shampoo is the most gentle shampoo on the market and doesn't actually have any soap in it. I'm still not quite sure how it cleans my hair, but it does... and it's perfect. It left my hair incredibly soft and frizz-free. Not to mention, the light smell of lavender is to die for. I suppose the regular yellow (original) baby shampoo would do the same thing, but why not get one that smells extra amazing!
Oh, I also read on Yahoo Answers that it can be used as a facial cleanser too... Mind=Blown.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
